Go figure, I’m getting this announcement after I meant to. Being a part time blogger is a lot harder than I expected when I started this…
Anyway, last year my dear dear friend Jennie suggested I check out an Ultimate Homemaking Bundle. At the time, I was so burnt out on “homemaking” that I wanted to throw up in my mouth at the thought of dedicating more time to it. But, I went to the website anyway. Maybe there was something there that would help me be a little more zen. All I wanted to do was blog and take pictures, and that was ALL.
What I found were resources written by real moms. People who had written their experiences down and shared them with the world. Some of them were people that I already followed online, like Dana White of A Slob Comes Clean, or Tsh Oxenreider of The Art of Simple.
Also, there were bonuses. I had been wanting to try out the website Craftsy…because their classes looked beautiful, and I love beauty. So I signed up because of the crafts bonus. Figuring that my bundle had already paid for itself if I took the 60 dollar photography class for 30 bucks (Oh yeah, and their offering that one again this year).
I loved the photography class. I quit using the auto feature on my camera, and now I shoot on the more manual modes pretty much all the time.
But I did do some of the homemaking stuff too. I took the 7 day course that they offered on getting your house under control. I read Drowning in Clutter by Dana White. I read about early potty training, and I learned about how to become a better blogger. There were so many resources for me…it did help with the burn out, and it wasn’t hoity toity or judgy in the least. I just bought the new bundle this year.
A few months ago I signed up to be their affiliate, so if you use my link I can make a little commission off of the sale, but that’s not why I’m selling it.
I’m promoting it, because it’s awesome.
