My dearest readers, it is with great pleasure that I introduce my guest blogger today. He is creative, energetic, and brings the twin perspective to this blog. I asked him to do a sort of day in the life post about twindom. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did (And I’m not just saying that because I’m his mother.) ~Bibi
Mamama brought us to a new place today. I even got to do a little shopping.
Designer toys were everywhere.
Some of the usual places were closed though (road construction?)…. [baby gates~Bibi]
Yesterday, I had just discovered this powder stuff in the blue and wood room with small doors. Just as I was dumping the powder on the floor for me and my bubba to play with, Mamama took us very quickly to the water wet place. What a disappointment to not be able to return today and sample a small amount.
Food was much the same this morning. Toast with sweet dark bits. My banana was sub par. Big groaning furry family member seemed impressed with said banana. So I threw a few bits to him. I banged the table requesting more for him, but mamama must not have been paying attention because she washed my hands and removed me from my chair.
Naptime nursies were quite exciting today. My bubba kept putting his mouth on me while I nursed. Mamama told him not to bite, and he kept burying his face further and further into my leg so she pushed his face back. Bubba and I laughed and laughed. I was so energized playing like this that I decided to get down and give my bubba a turn. Bubba nursed while I did a little surprise. That mamama. She comes up with the funniest games. Bubba fell asleep in mamama’s lap, and she decided to change my dipe while I stood up next to the couch. When she found my surprise in there she was very excited. She squeeled and jumped up, and woke bubba up so he could celebrate too. The furry family member even liked this game. His warm and soft tongue felt tickly on my bottom. Mamama stopped that part of the game, but I don’t know why. I love excitement. Especially when it pushes nap time back so far.
We did our usual car rides today to take big female Gagaga and small female Dadada to the places that you take big and small females and pick them up again.
Another highlight was Big Beardy Dadada coming home. I love that part every day.
There was also excitement when Big hairy family member barked when there were loud booms outside and people outside were yelling. Big Beardy Dadada said it was nothing to worry about. It was celebration time because the Royals are going to the world series for the first time this century. Our city is proud.
Stay tuned for a guest post from Finn (also known as Granger’s Bubba). I hope you will leave our little big guy some comment love. And seriously go visit my friend Jennie’s etsy shop. She is amazing.
