Okay, so, I’m having such a hard time making it here. So I’m having to lower my standards….I’m just going to write and update….and hope that it makes sense. I don’t want to lose this space to inactivity.
Please bear with me as I figure out how I can blog and do all that I’m doing at the moment. I think maybe I hinted at last time that Tommy is making a career pivot. It’s really really big, and it takes up a huge amount of my brain space. Either I’m trying to help him figure out how to do so, or I’m worried about the path that we’ve chosen, etc. Sorry, enough vague blogging….
I’m working on an incredibly fun project, myself. Actually Tommy is part of that as well. And so are my Mama and Papa and two of my sisters. We’re starting a business together. We’re in the early early planning stages, and so every decision at this point in time feels do or die, and it’s stressful but fun. I’ll hopefully have much more information to share, and will be able to share the name of the website once we’re up and running.
Our business is all about the joy of gardening. We’re still in talks about what our first product will be, but our dream phase is very fun. We’re talking about children and the love of teaching little hands about soil and seeds and how plants grow. We’re talking about projects that small hands can accomplish all on their own. We’re talking about how to teach without taking over the emergent process of learning. We’re talking about books with vibrant pictures. We’re talking about garden boxes made from post-consumer recycled products. We’re ordering samples. We’re dreaming of garden journals filled with colorful stamps….
And we’re talking about financing, and LLC’s and S-Corps, and validation of ideas. It’s pretty freaking awesome.
